FORMULA E JAGUAR CARS
The Formula E races are entering the 10th season and showcase all-electric power only. That means you'll be watching performance on the cutting edge of technological advancement – and the Jaguar vehicles that have been involved since the inception of this race never disappoint. For the 2023 and 2024 seasons, the Jaguar I-TYPE 5 was the flagship model that delivered incredible power and performance. For the newest season, though, Jaguar brings unparalleled power with the Jaguar I-TYPE 6.
This new Formula E and Jaguar model adds horsepower, bumping it up to 469 when in Attack Mode and 402 in Race Power Mode. Faster than its predecessors, the model goes from zero to 60 mph in only 2.2 seconds. Its lighter weight also enhances speed, meaning the drivers for this season are in for a hair-raising experience.

FORMULA E JAGUAR DRIVERS
The 10th Formula E season has a familiar face in the Jaguar driver selection, along with a new one. Mitch Evans is welcomed back to drive for the season once again, and his impeccable history behind the wheel cannot be overstated. The New Zealand native has had one win and stood at the podium twice in the last season alone, but has a total of 11 wins under his belt.
For the new season, the lineup switches out fan-favorite Sam Bird for another New Zealand native: Nick Cassidy. With seven total career wins to his name, Cassidy is expected to take the season by storm – especially having won twice in the last season alone. Here at Jaguar Indianapolis, we're excited to see this seasoned driver take to the asphalt for the Jaguar brand, especially with his impressive stats, which include 19 instances at the podium throughout his career.
Heading up the Jaguar TCS racing team is James Barclay, who helped the Jaguar team get the highest amount of championship points in their history with Formula E.

JAGUAR FORMULA E TOP SPEED
When Jaguar and Formula E come together, not only is the driver in for a thrilling experience but so are the viewers, too. If you're a car enthusiast, you likely already know that electric vehicles often outpace their gas-guzzling counterparts in performance and specifications. The models in the Jaguar racing realm have similar traits, including their value for top speed.
Many cars in the consumer market have conservative top speed values, similar to 120 mph. If you opt for a muscle car, this value may be bumped up a little, but these vehicles are not typically made to break barriers – especially on the track. That means automakers may not put their focus on providing you with a vehicle that pushes boundaries for your weekly grocery haul or your next date night. The track, however? That's a whole different beast entirely.
The Jaguar I-TYPE 6 was made to overpower conventional boundaries. As such, this vehicle can climb up to the 200 mph mark before topping out. This more efficient speed is provided largely in part to its leaner frame, which shaves 110 pounds off the previous iteration. All this without any carbon emissions? We'll be tuned into the Formula E races from beginning to end to witness such an extraordinary and groundbreaking advancement in the all-electric vehicle sphere.
