It's official, the vehicle lineup for the twenty-fourth installment of the James Bond series has been announced.
Sharing the spotlight with Bond's new Aston Martin DB10, will be a lineup from Jaguar and Land Rover that is so awesome it'll make enthusiasts everywhere drool. Jaguar officially announced that a sunburnt-orange C-X75 will take the main role and go head-to-head with Bond's DB10. This lays perfectly with Jaguar's theme of "it's good to be bad."
There has been speculation for months that the C-X75 concept first unveiled at the Paris Auto Show would be the main competitor to Bond. The C-X75 will have a conventional 5.0-liter V8 instead of the 800-horsepower hybrid motor that was originally designed with the concept. We can imagine that the V8 stuffed in the middle of the car will have similar horsepower figures as the hybrid system and will melt hearts as it roars by on the screen.
The next set of baddie cars to share the screen will be the lovely Range Rover SVR and Land Rover Big Foot. Both will be participating in wild, over-the-top chase scenes that we all expect and love from the Bond series.
Land Rover's Big Foot is heavily modified with 37-inch tires, bespoke suspension systems, and beefy, manly-looking off-road necessities that will make every person jealous. Land Rover also claims the SVR is the fastest thing they've ever built.
We can expect each vehicle to be involved in some wild chase scenes full of gunfire, clever moves, and explosions because Bond film. But we'll have to wait until November before Spectre hits theaters.
