Jaguar hosted a cook-out on Friday, April 26th in support of
Team
Remembering Tom, the Tom Wood Automotive Relay
for Life team. Relay for Life
is an overnight relay-style event in which teams of people camp out
around a track while members of each team take turns walking around the
track for the duration of the event. It is a family-friendly environment
for the entire community with food, games and activities providing
entertainment and fundraising opportunities. Our team was created in
memory of our founder, Tom
Wood, who lost his battle with cancer in 2010.
Tom Wood Jaguar raised $312 ($72 more than last year!) and is the first Tom Wood Automotive dealership to host a fundraiser in 2013. Each store will be having an event to raise money as we approach the actual Relay in June. If you're interested in supporting Team Remembering Tom, our 2013 Relay t-shirts are now available!
