If you happened to be near the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway during the past two weeks you may have been wondering
about the source of the fantastic noises that you were hearing. The
answer is that they were made by the supercharged engines of 37 Jaguar
F-Type sportscars that were in town and at the Speedway for
the training of 1,500 Jaguar sales and service staff from all over the
country. The invitees spent two days driving the F-Type and were
accompanied by a team of professional racing drivers led by the
legendary Roberto
Guerrero.
Among the more than a
dozen Tom Wood Jaguar
employees attending the training was our resident Brit, sales consultant
Paul Bennett. "I was fortunate enough to own 2 classic E-Types in the
1990s. It was a phenomenal, iconic sportscar and we have been waiting
for nearly 40 years for its successor," said Paul. "As an Englishman and
a Jag fan it makes me very proud to see what a fantastic job Jaguar has
done with this new car. I know that my customers are going to love
it."
The F Type will arrive at Tom Wood
Jaguar in late May.
